Never a 20millionquidplus player...
He's not very good anything...needed by a striker...

He did have chances made for him so you can fuck off with that old cliché.he failed miserably

Re: Zaza close? Signed
Course you can criticise him

No touch, didn't press, didn't work or make enough runs, didn't test the keeper once in 90 mins

And the yellow for diving reeked of desperation

Get Sakho back asap, this bloke ain't worth half the reported £20M fee

Re: Zaza close? Signed
Can't criticise him too much today. We didn't give him a sniff of anything resembling a decent chance.

Re: Zaza close? Signed
To be fair to Zaza I thought he started the game better and looked up for it, chasing down lost causes and he makes some good runs off the ball but has had little or no decent passes through to him.

I wanted Bilic to be bold enough to stick 2 up top today to take the game to them and stretch their defence. All this one up front malarky might work if you have a well drilled team and a player who knows that role but it can be an absolute gift to the opposition when it doesn't work.

Fletcher at least has pace and can stretch a defence, why Bilic hasn't given him a proper chance I don't know.

Re: Zaza close? Signed
You can have who you like up front, it won't make any difference until our midfield start creating some chances instead of pumping aimless balls into the box .

He's fucking bilge, he got owned by Div2 centre halves. Can't muscle it, won't get in where it hurts not brave enough. Drop the aaaaa's because he is Zzzzzz

Re: Zaza close? Signed
I'll make my mind up on him when our midfield actually create a couple of chances for him. About three times today he made space asked for the ball and not once did he get the pass

Re: Zaza close? Signed
I must admit when I saw him play for Italy in the weakened team v ROI in the Euro's my thought was he wasn't the right sort for the Premier league.
Nothing I have seen since has changed my mind.
And that includes him scoring for Juventus against us.
As said with strikers as they settle in you can usually see traces of their strengths before they put it all together.
With him the ECG is flat-lining.

He had some good touches in the first half, but lets be honest he had zero fucking service all first half. In the second have he was as bad as everyone else.

I will hold judgement until we at least service him so he can have one shot at goal.

On Austin's knee, was watching the NFL last night and some wally done a great diving block on a throw and then done a stupid jump celebration and fucked his knee up and had to be helped off.

Classic muppet.
